Privacy Policy

rpe.training is designed to respect your privacy. We don't require accounts, we don't store your personal calculator data on a server, and we minimize data collection wherever possible. This policy explains exactly what data exists, where it lives, and how you can control it.

What We Store Locally

All calculator data — your profile (bodyweight, height, age, sex, units, activity level), lift history, plate inventory, and theme preference — is saved in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to our servers or any third party. If you clear your browser data or use the "Clear All Data" button in the profile panel, this information is permanently deleted.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate site traffic — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and which devices visitors use. GA4 is configured to collect anonymized, aggregate data. We use this information solely to improve the site's content and usability. We do not use analytics data to identify individual users or build personal profiles.

Advertising and Cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. The only third-party services integrated into rpe.training are Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense. The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (S3 + CloudFront). No other third-party services receive data from your use of this site.

Your Rights and Choices

  • Clear local data: Open the profile panel and click "Clear All Data" to remove all locally stored calculator and profile information.
  • Opt out of analytics: Use a browser extension like Google Analytics Opt-out to prevent analytics collection.
  • Block ad cookies: Adjust your browser's cookie settings or visit Google Ads Settings to opt out of personalized ads.
  • Use the site without tracking: If you block both analytics and ad scripts (via a content blocker), all calculators continue to function normally — they run entirely in your browser.

Children's Privacy

rpe.training is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
